Projects and  Builds

At Raydence we take on unique projects from time to time. We believe that a challenging project is essential to gaining experience in an often challenging building industry. Thats why when a client called with a request to move a house from Smithville to Wainfleet, we said "sure, why not." Originally a 1970's bungalow, the house was destined for demo but with some hard work and preparation was instead loaded onto a flat-bed destined for a new location in Wainfleet. The police escorted move went smoothly and the house was at its new location within a few hours.

A new oversize roof system was designed to give the existing bungalow a country porch feel and was craned on the same day the home arrived on site. Have a look at our gallery of the move and roof drop and be sure to check back for more pics of the completed home when it is finished.
